What
are doorsets?
Doorsets are pre-assembled units consisting of the door, the door
frame
and stop,
the
architrave and ironmongery. The components are machined using CNC machinery to
ensure consistent sizes and then assembled
into a set
prior to delivery to site. Doorsets
can be installed in less than 20 minutes and
as they are
supplied as a complete unit, technical integrity is maintained in order to comply with building
regulations.
Doorpac doorsets are designed to allow for
variation in wall thickness and opening sizes.
Why use doorsets?
Doorsets and offer many advantages over traditional construction
techniques.
-
The
use of off-site manufacturing
can increase the speed and quality of
the build and reduce construction costs.
-
By
reducing the installation time, doorsets can help reduce the impact that the
shortages of skilled construction labour can have.
-
The use of a
doorset also ensures that that the relevant legislation governing the
technical performance of doors and doorsets
are achieved.
